“Years ago, I was spiraling at a workshop. I was raw and dazed where I had been called by Derek, up to the mic. Derek was leading me down a path where I wouldn’t really understand nor hold a full appreciation for what he had facilitated for me until days/weeks/months and even years later.   In the moments after we broke for the day, I was in an uncomfortable space, feeling incredibly raw, confused, mad, frustrated, and vulnerable – I was in shock, but operating.
