While putting into practise the tips from my Autumn blog post, I spent some time reflecting on my Inner Child. And how, many times I have listened to this vulnerable voice and other times I have simply ignored it.
Everyday is a school day, as life is always teaching us something. And we have the choice to listen or ignore what is stirring within. I stopped and listened, And the piece of writing below was the result of my reflection.
When did you last check in with your inner child?
My Dearest Child,
Life will always show you the way, when you let it be. It will move you where you need to be. Remain soft, in spite of life’s hard experiences and do not fear the unfamiliar. Embrace the unknown, with a mother’s loving eyes. I am you and you are me, forever. I am everywhere you look.
You have all the tools you need within you to soothe an aching heart. If you have moments where you cannot see for forest for the trees, do it for me, Keep it simple. Kiss yourself better. One step at a time.
Life is learning. It is written and unwritten all at once. So dare to be different and find comfort in the magic of you. You are a precious gem. Be gentle with yourself. Take your time and keep yourself safe. There will be times when you shine, and you will be the admired jewel in a crown. And there will be times when you will be polished, wrapped up and hidden away for safe keeping. Both are perfect. Be where God, the Universe, the Source needs you to be. This is what life is, an adventure, where nothing is ours to hold.
Receive, and ask what the message is – then let go.
Softly open to the flowing energy of love and life. Your heart knows best. Listen to the voice that pours from within your sacred heart.
Be present. Be here. Be now. And we will speak again soon.
